Waterfront Houston Hideout In A Magical Forest!

Very nice but lacking some essentials. Not enough chairs to sit in, virtually no place to hang clothes in a closet, no dressers for clothes, the small bedroom didn't have a bedside table. Door on washer was broken, no laundry. Too expensive for what was there. Needed some upkeep. Missing knobs on cabinets, entry door would only keep out critters bigger than a cat. Cookware was pretty rough. Dishwasher was filthy. Lightbulb broken off in an outdoor light. Things like kitchen garbage bags should have been provided, we had to go buy them. Overall we enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable, although the frames were loose and noisy, plenty of towels and wash rags. One more thing, it rained and there was a leak in the big bedroom. Looked like someone was aware of it because the trim had been removed. The pool was dirty, obviously nobody was taking care of it. Wouldn't use it. Overall, it was too expensive. Couldn't recommend it at that price.

Positive: Private. Relaxing and away from the city. Negative: Only issue was not having curtains or blinds on the windows downstairs.
